I am originally from Vermont. I moved to Florida with my nine year old son last year. It has been quite a change for the two of us. I have discovered that education can be quite different in various states. Part of me wishes that education in Florida was more like education in Vermont. With that said, I do love my job here and know that I have been brought to my school for a reason. The kids that I teach are amazing despite coming from situations that are far from ideal.
This is my first attempt at a blog. Please be patient as I stumble my way through this. I am also in the process of setting up my very own Teachers Pay Teachers store. There were many times this year where I had to create materials for my classroom because I just couldn't find what I needed at a reasonable price.
